Endometriosis Treatment


I come across a lot of cases of Endometriosis most days. Statistics now show that 90% of period pain may be from misdiagnosed or undiagnosed endometriosis and/or poor alignment.

Doctors will quite often dismiss a tilt in the uterus, posterior alignment or retroversions as non attributing factors to fertiliy challenges, but the more I work with women and the uterus, the more significance I believe it may have.

During my training as an as a Practitioner, I was taught that period pain is not normal.

As women we expect it, assume it's routine. But I now know that this isn't the case, period pain is an attributing factor of alignment issues in relation to pelvic misplacement and undiagnosed Endometriosis.

If you have any symptoms, such as dark thick blood at the end or beginning of the cycle, nausea, dizziness, bleeding that is extremely heavy, clots bigger than a thumb nail or sore heels when walking, you could have Endometriosis or alignment issues.

Herbal Tea:

Put a pinch of the tea in 125ml of boiling water and stand for 10 minutes.

Strain off liquid (Liquid A) and leave it aside.

Put the strained herbs (from above) in a pot containing 250ml of boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes.

Strain off liquid (Liquid B) and leave it aside.

Mix liquid A & B and sip throughout the day. Do not reheat.


  • Take the tea for 3 weeks, then
  • No tea for 2 weeks, and then again
  • Take the tea for 3 weeks.
The 4 herbs needed for the tea are:
  • Knot Grass
  • St Johns Wart
  • Horse Tail
  • Nettle

You are on the diet for the 8 weeks while you take the tea

Special diet

Your food should be great tasting and enjoyable and as much as possible:

  • Wholefood i.e. brown rice, wholemeal bread & pasta, fresh cook – white bread has very little food value 
  • Unprocessed (not from tins or packets but cooked from fresh ingredients - no additives, colourings , flavourings)
  • Freshly cooked (not reheated/microwaved)
  • Organic (no pesticides etc)
  • Low fat (skip all margarine’s and vegetables spread and use all natural vegetable oils sparingly)
  • Sugar and Stimulant free

Relish as much of the following foods:

  • Fruit
  • Vegetables
  • Grains
  • Pulses (beans)
  • Salads
  • Nuts and seeds

Avoid completely foods that contain:

  • Meat
  • Fish Poultry
  • Dairy – milk, cheese, yoghurt, butter etc
  • Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Stimulants – alcohol/drugs

Vital: Water, water, water - Drink 2 litres of water a day – it cleanses and nourishes the body supporting your healing process
